FEATURES No Budget Bonanza
In the decade ending in fiscal 2002, NASA's budget lost 13 percent of its purchasing power. By increasing the agency budget authority from $15.4 billion in 2004 to $18 billion in 2009, the Bush administration would make up for some of the loss.
