The Homeland Security Department's list of mandatory removal offenses includes many that probably would come with a jail sentence.
- Aiding or abetting an act of terrorism.
- Buying, using, selling or transporting weapons of mass destruction.
- Allowing transportation of illegal weapons or materials to be used for the purpose of committing a terrorist act.
- Permitting the entry of an individual to the United States who could threaten homeland security.
- Soliciting or accepting a bribe that compromises homeland security.
- Misusing or divulging law enforcement information to unauthorized recipients, jeopardizing homeland security.
- Engaging in activities that compromise the economic or financial infrastructure of the federal government.
